Help Wanted

Life Development Ministries Director

Vision As a result of this ministry, youth and their families

  • Will know God’s grace and love, and live with hope as God’s children
  • Have faith which guides them in decisions and choices
  • Are supported along the various milestones of their faith journey by a network of significant people of all ages including peers, family members, congregation members and others
  • Discover and strengthen their gifts as disciples of Christ and are given purposeful opportunities to use them
  • Value and participate in a worshipping and blessing community

As a result of this ministry, adults

Possible Tasks

  1. Coordinate Youth Christian Education Programs
    1. Sunday School
    2. Learning and Serving Club
    3. Vacation Bible School
  2. Recruit and train teachers
  3. Coordinate Youth Events
    1. Preschool gathering
    2. Elementary age events – game night, book club, homework club for example
    3. Middle School through High School activities- i.e. game night, Bible studies, Confirmation, tutoring, mentoring
  4. Coordinate adult programs –
    1. Adult Forums
    2. Community Enrichment Programs (Grace Counseling and Morristown Memorial Hospital offer free community programs and lectures)
    3. Senior Ministries
  5. Coordinate service activities for all age groups
  6. Group building activities and gatherings
  7. Encourage involvement in synodical gatherings especially at the youth level
