The purpose of the Finance and Stewardship Committee shall be to oversee all the financial affairs of the congregation.  The Finance and Stewardship Committee shall prepare and submit to the Congregational Council an annual budget for consideration and approval at the annual congregation meeting.  The Finance and Stewardship Committee shall, in consultation with the Pastor, evoke and nurture throughout the congregation an expression of Christian faith in giving,  

The Finance and Stewardship Committee shall periodically review the congregation's financial condition,  financial operations, investment programs, memorial funds, special fund-raising appeals, and stewardship programs.  The Finance and Stewardship Committee shall strive to enlist in the proper and prudent accomplishment of the foregoing duties as many as possible of the individual members and organizations of the congregation.
