The purpose of the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church shall be to provide support for the congregation to which they are affiliated and care for all God's children.  The commitment of WELCA is to provide spiritual nurturance for the women of this congregation and to provide opportunity for service.

Support to the congregation and other outside organizations is provided financially through fund-raising events.  Support is also provided in the many tasks that are accomplished by the women within the regular programming of the church.  All women are encouraged toparticipate.
